Lapwing Housing Co-op bought its first home on 5 November 2024. There are several ways you can get involved or support us at this stage.

Live with us

Lapwing Housing Co-op seeks two more tenants/member to join Lapwing and live with us from mid July / start of August 2026. To find out more and to apply to live at Lapwing, download the member application form, complete it and email it to lapwing.housing.coop@gmail.com by 21 June 2026.

​If you have any questions or queries before applying to live with us, please email us and we can try to arrange for a chat and tour of the house to share how it works and to support you in seeing if it feels right for you.​ You can also join our Open Day on 13 June 2026.

Invest in us

 

Lapwing Housing Co-op is a community-led project designed to bring new affordable housing to the Lancaster District. To support this work, from time to time Lapwing Housing Co-op will issue Loan Stock (a form of solidarity investment), and also welcomes donations.
